Lexi & Connor
Framed by the rolling hinterland of Maleny National Park, Lexi and Connor’s wedding day unfolded with effortless charm and considered detail. The morning began for the girls at the serene Maleny Lodge, before guests made their way through winding country roads to Yabbaloumba Retreat.
Lexi made a striking entrance in a sculptural Vivienne Westwood gown, defined by the designer’s signature sharp neckline and artful draped ruching — the look an elegant contrast to the wild, organic beauty of the surroundings.
Connor wore a dusty blue suit that complemented the palette of the bridal party — muted shades of cornflower, slate, and sky dancing subtly through the bridesmaids’ dresses. Together, the couple struck a picture of understated sophistication with a hint of retro flair.
For Love and Living kept the styling soft and simple, letting the landscape speak for itself with organic drapery and subtle textures.
As the sun dipped behind the trees, guests dined beneath a canopy of stars. Long tables, heartfelt speeches, and the gentle glimmer of fairy lights set the scene for a warm, rustic reception. For the evening celebrations, Lexi slipped into her second look — a sequined mini that shimmered with every movement, catching the light as the night shifted from ceremony to celebration.
And, in a final nod to nostalgia and family legacy, the couple made their getaway in a show-stopping vintage Chevrolet Camaro.
